We have a room!!!!!

After a long day of waiting, we finally have a room!  Jones Pavillion 616 West.  Kohlton will be moved up here soon and we are anxiously waiting to greet him.  Today was a great day, even though visiting was cut to a minimum because there was an emergency in the room next to Kohlton's.

He was still able to spend the afternoon with one of his best friends, Paul, watching the Texans game and a wonderful nurse delivered his lunch from Fred's Italian Restaurant.

Chris and I had a great day visiting with all of Kohlton's friends even though he didn't get to see some of them.

Keep those prayers coming!!!  God is so faithful!

  1. Dear Chris & Nancy: We are so happy to hear Kohlton has his own room, I'm sure you are relieved. Kohlton's prayer line is growing every second. Hope you ALL get some rest. We love you, Hugs to Kohlton. Put me on the list of "Take A Number Visitation"... God Bless You All. Susana

  2. Mr. & Mrs. Fry: This is Ms. Turner from WCS. I was totally shocked and saddened about the injury sustained to Kohlton. I have read through your blog and I said to myself "that's the Kohlton I remember"...always smiling and keeping everyone else in good spirits. I am proud of his attitude throughout this ordeal. Please tell Kohlton I am thinking and praying for his recovery. God is AWESOME and is still performing miracles...nothing is impossible!! By-the-way, I have moved to another country...I live in Doha, Qatar! I'm sending my well-wishes from afar. Take care and I will keep in touch with the blogs!

  3. I was at Rio last weekend but left early. I remember seeing Chris pull in, but never made it over to say hi. I don't really know what to say other than I feel awful for your family. Kohlton seems like a strong young man with a very positive outlook. I will keep your family in my thoughts. Please let me if there's anything I can do to help. Charlene

  4. Chris & Nancy, not sure if this will get posted. My previous attempt didn't work. So glad to hear that Kohlton is doing better and has his own room now. He has a lot of support from family, friends and neighbors. Let me know if I can do anything to help.

  6. Kohlton,
Haven't seen you since you were a boy/young man but I remember you perfectly; full of fun, enthusiasm, and never-say-quit attitude--just like your dad! Paul and I have been tthinking constantly about you since we heard the news and my kids have put you in their nightly prayers. I see that lots of others have as well!
Thanks for this blog (is that the right word? I'm so old) so we can all keep track of your progress and please know that we are sending love in your direction. --Love, Allison Copello
